Polliwogs is our class for 3-4 year olds. Polliwogs spend their day learning in our Reggio and Montessori-inspired class through gross motor and free play. Most class sessions are themed and include activities tailored to the theme. Polliwogs have art materials available at every class and music sessions once per month. In addition to classroom activities, Polliwogs will take a field trip quarterly and enjoy nature walks in the neighborhood.

The Polliwog class meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-11:30am and is taught by Angie Lacy.

Any child who will be 3 on or before September 1 is eligible to register for the Polliwogs class. Tuition is $100 per month. For more information or to request financial assistance, please contact membership@downeycoop.com.

9-9:30 – Gross Motor Play (Outside if weather permits)
9:30-9:50 – Class Meeting
9:50-10:40 – Free Play (choice of activities such as art, craft, math, science, playdough, puzzles, tools, sensory table, etc)
10:40-10:55 – Circle Time
10:55-11:10 – Snack
11:10-11:30 – Gross Motor Play
