A cooperative preschool is a parent run, non-profit organization where parents and teachers work together to create a positive, nurturing environment in which children can thrive in all aspects of their development. We place a special emphasis on helping children build self-identity and social interaction skills. Downey is a member of the Indianapolis Council of Preschool Cooperatives.
